A Case of Congenital Tuberculous Peritonitis resulting to Intestinal Obstruction in An Infant

Abstract
A case of tuberculous peritonitis was encountered, and it is reported with a review of the literatures.
There was an intestinal obstruction due to multiple tuberculous adhesive bands in 55 days old male, and one of the bands caused a strangulation in the terminal ileum.
No active lesion was noted in the lung, and the tuberculos peritonitis was strongly evident to be congenital or primary.
The clinical course was favourable after adhesiolysis, adhesiotomy an incidental appendectomy and with subsequent administration of anti-tuberculous drugs.
